Jundullah is an Islamist group based in Pakistan that seeks to overthrow Pakistani religious minorities and establish a strict Sunni theocracy. Jundallah is linked to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and has carried out high profile attacks on Pakistani state assets and sectarian targets, such as Shi'ite and Christian places of worship. They are also known for attacks on civilians, such as an attack on a school in Peshawar that killed hundreds of children. In a leaked memo, the Pakistani government stated the group has a total of 12,000 to 20,000 fighters. However, according to Reuters, both Jundullah militants and Pakistani security officials dismissed the memo as not credible. In November 2014, Jundullah vowed allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) after a meeting with a three-man delegation representing IS led by al Zubair al Kuwaiti.
