Third Position

Third Position (TP) originated from neo-fascist groups but blended right-wing and left-wing rhetoric. TP sought the violent overthrow of the Italian government and advocated a "fascist dictatorship of the proletariat," but its exact goals were unclear. The group staged terrorist attacks in addition to acting as the semi-legal political wing of Armed Revolutionary Nuclei (NAR), a right-wing group that emerged from New Order. TP ended with the arrest of several of its leaders while they were transferring weapons.
