Venetian Collectives for Worker Power (CPV) was a left-wing terrorist group based exclusively in the northeastern Italian region of Veneto. CPV emerged from a legal left-wing organization, Worker Power, which had dissolved in 1973. Among its chief concerns was job insecurity, which it viewed as a central feature of modern capitalism. CPV was also anti-fascist. The group was composed largely of students and attacked mostly factory and university targets, though it is also known to have attacked other targets popular on the left, such as journalists, prisons, and real estate agencies.
