The Ulster Citizen Army (UCA) was a small, short-lived splinter group of the Ulster Defense Association (UDA). Like the UDA, it was a Protestant loyalist organization that sought to prevent the secession of Northern Ireland from the United Kingdom, but it espoused a more left-wing and less anti-Catholic outlook than its parent organization.
