Los Libertadores del Vichada formed as a splinter group out of the demobilization of the Popular Revolutionary Anti-Terrorist Army of Colombia (ERPAC) in 2011. Los Libertadores del Vichada is a subgroup under the Bandas Criminales (BACRIM) umbrella organization, "Los Puntilleros."
